20" Glossy Italian Elm Root Board with 2" Squares Exotic, italian briarwood elm root make up some of the most luxurious and interesting chess boards. This board features the classic, old world styling of elm root and it pairs brilliantly with virtually every popular chess piece wood. In particular, ebonywood, ebonized, rosewood and honey rosewood pieces shine on this board. Brass and metal pieces also look fantastic on elm root boards. This elm root board features a gloss finish to both protect the exotic wood and mark a glistening sheen that accents any chess pieces.
